The apartment is situated next to the street of San Luis, which used to be the street Real de Sevilla, a street which was of great importance in ancient times, due to its being one of the official points of entry to the city from the North for kings, from the Puerta de la Macarena towards the centre.  In the same street and its surroundings there are monuments and buildings of great importance, such as the Roman walls of the Macarena, la Basílica de la Virgen Macarena, the Mudejar church of San Gil, the Pumarejo palace, the Mudejar church of San Marcos, the convent of San Paula, etc...  Ideal for touristic visit of the city, as the most important monuments of Seville are found just a few minutes away on foot from the apartment. 

Recommendations:

The recently reformed and renovated Paseo de la Alameda de Hercules is located five minutes from the apartment ; it is a lively area with a Bohemian atmosphere which is not found elsewhere in Seville, with various types of bars and terraces, shows, concerts, exhibitions, fiestas, etc... and all in the open air.

A few metres from the apartment we also recommend visiting the wholesale food market in Feria street (the oldest food market of Seville).

Nearest Parking: 

The public car park SAN JUAN DE RIBERA (Macarena Hospital) is located in the street San Juan de Ribera, some 10 minutes on foot from the apartment.  The price is approx. 18 euros/24hr.

Walking distance:

• 5 mins. Walls and Macarena church.
• 15 mins. Town Hall and Sierpes Street.
• 15 mins. Cathedral and Reales Alcazares.
• 15 mins. Barrio de Santa Cruz.

How to arrive from the airport:

• Transfers: Private collection service at the airport (enquire).  

• Taxi: 20/25 minutes depending on traffic. Approx. 25 euros. 

• Bus: Approx. 30/40 minutes.  Bus line EA takes you from the airport to the city centre.  Buses every 15/30 minutes.  To arrive at the apartment, get off at the last stop (Prado de San Sebastian), followed by line C4 until to Macarena church.  More information is available on the TUSSAM website.
